The building in which we live, work, and play protect us from Nature’s extremes, yet they also affect our health and environment in countless ways.  Many Native American Nations have started energy efficient building materials to provide healthier, sustainable and more resource-efficient tribal communities.  Research and experience increasingly demonstrates that when buildings are designed and operated with their lifecycle impacts in mind, they can provide positive environmental, economic, and social benefits.
